Pretty sweet RPG so far, only a couple of hours in. Haven't quite seen why so many people have been fapping like porn monkeys over it yet but have been told by plenty you are no-where near scratching the surface of it yet (which I can believe by the sheer size of it so far).
Chose to be a Dwarf in the end, a Warrior Dwraf with possibly the ugliest face ever. Kicks ass in battle, spent ages at the opening of Dragonmaw fighting the wolves and troggs to level up a bit. One thing that is decent is that everyone who I have come across so far has been pretty helpful and not even slightly c*ck faced.
Interface is sweet, the layout was easy enough to get to grips with after the initial "this is just one area, wtf?!". The environments make Lisa Riley's mu*f saddle looking like a toddler's paddling pool.
Controls are easy, the magic areas aren't even slightly geeky from what I have come across so far, just drag it onto the bar and click it when you need it. Haven't really bought much yet but that too seems simple enough to use and from what I gather it nails other MMORPG's for its less geeky approach. For a first time MMORPG'er' I have founs it fack easy to get into and nothing like what I expected (only in a good way though).
Visually it is sweet, the soundtrack is awesome, the presentation is spot on etc etc *fap fap*
Wish I didn't have work tomorrow but life's a b*tch!
> I have grinded 62G since last Thursday.
Never heard that phrase before today, you're the second one to mention it.
I've not done much 'grinding' purely because I'm only LV21 at the moment, I've been playing around with the auctions though, I'm on 19G at the moment with a potential 20G coming my way if all the others sell.
Required half the effort of killing stuff and took a fraction of the time. Only problem is that I've forced the prices of some items up to 200% of it's original price. 20 heavy rock will set you back around 1G 40S now, it was about 70S beforehand!
Still, whenever someone tries to sell it for 1G, I'll buy it and relist it at 1G 40S and enjoy the profits as it always sells!
Pandaemonium, did you hear that Jeff Minter is making the interactive light synth software for Xbox 360? I seem to remember you being a fan of his. Apparently he said it's the best thing he's ever done. I'm so excited, especially after the Unity disappointment.

What?
Also, you'll get pwned less.
Will head back to Auberdine to loot some light leather and then I will jus**t buy a sh*t load of course thread and make a load of crap tat I will jus**t sell on.
Made quite a bit of money selling Heavy Leather yes**terday in Strangletorn, 15S for 10 isn't bad at all when it only takes a few minutes to kill 10 or so Gorillas. Heard you get more at AH but I'm not sure what to lis**t Heavy leather for at the AH.

Just make crap (enbossed leather gloves, or anything in orange guaranteed to up you skill) to sell to vendors. I'm 120+ skinning and lvl 80 Leather at level 16. The Leatherworking trainer will let you learn the methods when you hit a certain level.
A couple of level 48 Horde Rogues were hanging around on the main road to Bootylicous last night, was quite hilarious when 8 of us caught them whilst they were sneaking around, they tried to get away but failed miserably, fack knows how many kills they got though as there were 15 or so skeletons on the floor then, sneaky little f*ckers :D
Stranglethorn is becoming crazy, Booty Bay looks to belong to the Alliance again and in return Horde are just camping out on the road through Stranglethorn killing everything in sight, makes it really tough to get any quests done that require a lot of tracking back and forth, tis basically becoming a no go area for anyone below level 40.
Might head up to Arathi tonight.
Leatherworkers, at what stage do you get to create Medium/Heavy armour kits? Last night alone I managed to get my skinning up and beyond 200 but my leatherworking is still at 63, does it comes with an upgrade or do you have to learn the skill seperately?
