My personal favourite theory, that explains everything about the man called Jesus, is that he was a time-traveller. Think about it. Some mystical bloke, giving it all "that" with extra sass - I'd be pretty lairy if I'd just time-travelled. Healing the sick with modern and future medicine. And he's white. The first time-traveller (if the End of Days hasn't come like you're cheerily predicting) will probably be some white-bred American bloke, so he'll be well-versed in the Bible. It's a good theory, don't knock it. Expect to see the film. Soon. Starring Mark Wahlberg as Jesus. And William Shatner as God. Probably.
By the way, Congrats Snuggly, i never voted for you tho!
The first account of creation in Genesis chapter 1 through chapter 2, verse 3, is an overview of the seven days of creation. The rest of chapter 2 deals with the creation of man and woman and HOW God did it, plus the location of the garden of Eden. Consider chapter 1 verse 27 the overview, and chapter 2, verses 7, 18 and 19 how He created man and woman.
THAT's your answer.
What color was Jesus? Deep tan. He was a Jew, as FF has said. I always figured that those who hate Jews are going to be surprised at the Great White Throne judgment when they see "their" Jesus sitting on the throne, and He's a Jew. His mother was Jewish. His stepfather was Jewish. YES, His STEPFATHER. Joseph wasn't His father. God Almighty was.
I use the same KING JAMES BIBLE that most people do. Interestingly, that Bible wasn't a western (American) invention. The 1611 KJV was translated in England from original Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek texts. I don't use a 1611, but the ones we have today are a version with easier to understand text.
By the way, FF, nice job on the Easter thing. I've told people about that for years. Check it out further, and you'll see a yule log and a decorated tree there also. (Unless you had it listed in the pamphlet and I didn't see it. If so, forgive the oversight.)
Pagan rituals.
John 4:24 says, "God is a Spirit, and those that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth."
> Because God made your spirit along with you, is the reason.
God had nothing to do with my creation.
Jeebus supplied the lube, he may have squeezed a few things, but God did nothing - he didn't even bother to bring a camera.
My spirit is 100% mine.
What I believe it is, what I believe is consists of, what I believe will happen to it and what I believe will change it are my beliefs.
My spirit has nothing to do with anyone else apart from me.
You and your God can keep your blood-stained hands away from it.

But you did. And it said you were 14.
*chants*
Hell!
Hell!
Hell!
Yes it's in me - therefore it is mine.
Not God's.
It may be Jeebus's, if he asks nicely enough.
But we don't even have the same definition of a spirit, so this conversation is utterly pointless.
