Homo-sexuality is undoubtedly acceptable. If being intimate and sexual with a person of the same sex is what a person loves, and the partner of that person is under the same understanding there are no problems. Its not like it is hurting anybody, nobody is going to suffer because these people have different tastes. It's like anything, vanilla or chocolate, red or clue, men or women. It cannot be stopped that people are going to have different beliefs, but you have to remember that more than 10% of the population are gay, and if they love being gay enough to put up with some of the flack they get then that is up to them, and is for nobody else to decide.
