"Self-harm: cutting."

My girlfriend recently asked me why I cut myself. I replied

"Because I have knowledge of things I cannot change."

It's quite profound, but that is why I cut myself. To let out anger. I don't cut deep, but enough to bleed. I sent my qoute to a self-harm website, to use on there front page but they ignored it. Shame, I really think it can help people understand why they are harming (cutting, burning etc) themselves.

Hopefully someone will find it useful.

Mate, this is exactly what happened to me. She cut herself before we wentout, and stopped whilst we were. Then as soon as we stopped (2 months ago now) a huge cut suddenly apeared on her arm and a few smaller ones on her legs. Blaitently obvious, as if that was how it was meant to be....

I would cut myself but I can deal with all the harsh realities in my life.

Every now and again we feel down in life but it doesn't solve anything to self harm or suicide.

Seems to me that locky is looking for sympathy, like the thread he had a while back about committing suicide.
But that's just my thought..

I cut my penis off in protest against poll tax. Then when someone explained that poll tax was based on the number of windows your property had, I felt so foolish.

Moral of the story:

if you feel like cutting off your own winky,
stop, chill out and have a good thinky.

(Actually I'm getting worried, all my posts seem to be nob or plop related; need a fresh perspective).
