"Self-harm: cutting."

My girlfriend recently asked me why I cut myself. I replied

"Because I have knowledge of things I cannot change."

It's quite profound, but that is why I cut myself. To let out anger. I don't cut deep, but enough to bleed. I sent my qoute to a self-harm website, to use on there front page but they ignored it. Shame, I really think it can help people understand why they are harming (cutting, burning etc) themselves.

Hopefully someone will find it useful.

I have two HUGE scars from Skateboarding, but I bored you all with that story a few years ago. The scars on my arm from cutting are small, and fading. I used to use a knife I got at work. I haven't cut myself for weeks. Thanks for your concern everyone. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Start writing your little quotes and stuff in a little book, even other peoples' quotes. One day, you'll read through all of them and suddenly think of one better than all the rest. Some type of inspiration, methinks.

Heh. I remember seeing a girl about 4 years ago in a petrol station absolutely covered in cuts and scars on her arms. It looked damn messy. Won't be nice in 20 years when you look at them and think, "Aw, I wish I didn't do that", because you'll just look ruined. Take care of your body, man!
