"Because I have knowledge of things I cannot change."
It's quite profound, but that is why I cut myself. To let out anger. I don't cut deep, but enough to bleed. I sent my qoute to a self-harm website, to use on there front page but they ignored it. Shame, I really think it can help people understand why they are harming (cutting, burning etc) themselves.
Hopefully someone will find it useful.

Jesus can save you from sin, He can give you an escape. He can give you LIFE, He can give you something better. Do you want Jesus?
The kind of things that make people cut themselves open.
Jesus puts families back together, yes?
Jesus takes people off drugs, yes?
Jesus stops people getting beaten up everyday, yes?
Jesus can give people back the control in their life, yes?
No.
And self-harmers aren't sinful. They've usually just has a whole load of nasty s**t dumped on them - which isn't their fault now, is it?
Seriously, you go ranting off to a self-harmers about Jesus saving their evil, vile, sinful body and they'll probably turn that scalpal around on you.
You seriously have no idea about anything that affects real life.

Jesus can save them from their sinful life. They don't need to draw blood, Jesus drew blood for them, they need Jesus to wash their sins clean

You.
Do you really think, that if someone's slicing themselves open, that standing over them shouting about it being evil and sick is going to help?
They obviously have problems, and a religious lecture from people like you is not going to solve them.

Interesting story.
