I may well have a bash at that... being an old school shredder, that seems a walk in the park. I can manage over 300 just alternate picking, albeit in short bursts, and 200 sustained for a few minutes.
On another note: I got tickets to G3 today!!!! Huzzah!!

Well just checking my version it's 7:40, however, it's at exactly 7:25 that the first note is sounded, so if they've cut off Bruce introducing it and the drum countdown thing then it's probably the Rio version. It does roxor.
Iron Maiden- Number of the Beast
Judas Priest- British Steel
Metallica- Master of Puppets
Black Sabbath- Paranoid
AC/DC- High Voltage
Rainbow- Long Live Rock 'N' Roll
Rob Zombie- The Sinister Urge
White Zombie- La Sexorcisto (Devil Music Volume One)
Anyone got anything else to reccomend?

Nah - that's probably the one name I can remember. I think it's the track after that on their Burn My Eyes album.
I liked The More Things Change ... too but haven't heard it in a while.
*goes to dig out some old CDs*

Actually I think it is. It is 7.25 minute song and you can hear the crowd singing along. It roxors anyway.
Thanks for the info by the way.
Iced Earth & Blind Guardian - Excalibur. Most power metal is crap, but this is an exception. Atmospheric. Really atmospheric. If you can find it then download it. Kinda Lord Of The Ringsy in a way...
Arch Enemy - Dead Eyes See No Future. Swedish black metal with a suspiciously masculine female vocalist, but there's some very nice guitarwork on there.
Children Of Bodom - Everytime I Die. Finnish metal, you may/may not be used to the growling vocals but instrumentally it's flawless.
Megadeth - Good Mourning Black Friday. Slow intro then into some riffage. Bit Slayerish. And Dave Mustaine has an interesting voice. Unique. Probably. Hanger 18's a good solid track too.
Metallica - Disposable Heroes. If you don't know this one then you should.
Black Label Society - The Blessed Hellride/Stoned and Drunk/Stillborn. ZAKK WYLDE! *Gets excited*
Bruce Dickinson - The Ghost Of Cain. Great song from the Maiden singer's solo career.
Hmm I tried to keep that short... I think I failed though.
Just interested, anyone collect or have any bootlegs?

Cheers, I'll try that.

The Trooper or Run to the Hills are some of my current favourites, it would be hard to pick one.

is it the "let freedom ring with the shotgun blasts" one?
if so, it`s called Davidian, it`s arguably their most famous track...
