Mm.. Another narrow-minded and simplistic view.

Change is good people. Especially when it seeks to broaded the member population and doesn't continue to eliminate, sanction-off, or further segregate the minority.

Gameaday should be open to anyone wanting to partake and not just to one country. This is of course, the international super highway..why not share the love and foster comraderie?

Although there are a lot of other more intense things to talk about happening in the world in these forums, like what you had for lunch, patting eachother on the backs for winning GAD for lame posts and copied cheats, and exchanging toilet pictures.. I don't see why pointing out an inequity on these forums should be condemned in comparison. Not when it can be a benefit to the company if there is some compromise in policy.

Of course, there's probably nothing involving legal issues or problems with sending things to another country from a UK forum. And no other US site stops prizes being sent to the UK. Oh, and Tony is, of course, an evil mastermind who only has his own interests at heart and sits in his room all day, cackling to himself...

Get over it.

If that sounds harsh, it shouldn't. It's just that there are plenty of other, far worse things going on in the world and one website that belongs to a company which is, like all other companies, trying to make money despite giving away free vouchers each and every single day, doesn't really make a lot of sense complaining about.

(k) We regret that we can no longer award Gameaday prizes to users overseas.

:'( Well, it's not like I really ever tried anyways.. I guess. I suppose even if I did bother to submit anything GAD worthy and won, I could have donated it or paid a fee from the prize to have it converted to dollars. The last time I won, I was emailed a code to use on Amazon and I thought that was uber cool. It made me think that Tony was a swell guy that operated with an "outside the box" modus of thought and it was most likely what made this place successful to begin with. I was admirable of the SR business model with the sideline GAD niche.

Admittedly, however, I've become increasingly disappointed over the course of my membership here with how he's handled public relations. You either accept what he says or just leave.. and many have just chosen to leave than to deal with what I have also encountered to be nothing more than uncompromising and narrow-minded.

This GAD rule validates that in every regard.

:D - thought someone had gone powercrazy!

I think this will probably be the only thread that's not mine that I'll update regularly so shouldn't be too many in future as I updated it for about the last 3 weeks.

Buy it chipps - then you can watch me stab you on an uber monitor.

:0)

Thinking of getting myself an hdtv sometime in the next few months, means I can move the 360 into my room and get some surround sound set up with it.
