It was a lateral response to your rather dismissive retorting.

That is an inaccurate statement, although I'm sure you're wishing it was true to validate your inaccurate assessment of this matter. I have won a GAD under Celestine.

I am saying that excluding me now is narrow-minded, yes. What if one of you were to leave the UK and reside in the US? You'd still be a part of the Freeola community, but no longer eligible for GAD? I believe this would exclude Garin too, now that he lives in Texas.

If we're to make any progress in the world, ridiculing people for trying to integrate ideals would be stumping any efforts. I'm not talking about issues pertaining to the United States Presidential election, nor am I in any way, shape or form talking about the internet censorship imposed on China. I'm talking about the Gameaday competition on Freeola and how it has shut it's doors to allowing the minority member residing in a different country from winning.
Let's keep things in perspective.

Why exclude the few? The underlying motive for any business entity wanting to remain a successful going-concern is to expand on all avenues of revenue. Cleaving the ones that envoke friendships and goodwill between countries to encase a recluse environment is just..well, sad. We may as well call ourselves Pocket Monkey.
It is of the complete exclusion that is the inquiry, if you'll bother reading my orignal post. Why not allow me the option of donating my prize or paying a fee for the conversion?

Yes, you did harshly condemn my view by confirming that you were being "harsh," to accept the unfair, injust, and unethical exclusion of just a few members that now reside elsewhere and to "get over it."
People shouldn't be shunned from writing about an issue they see unequal in these forums and just because you don't like it, attacking the writer is not conducive to maintaining the peaceful decorum Freeola is trying to advocate with these forums flooded by excessive moderators.

That's rather dismissive. I understand your point, that everyone in this country can win a prize and suddenly you can't (though SR had that policy from the word go). But saying that the in-ability for a company to organise a competition which can provide prizes to another continent is not narrow-minded, it is logical fact. And this worldwide internet thing doesn't add up, either. For example, if we take your ideal world example then I could vote in the US elections by internet, the US could not sanction the ban on Internet Gambling and China would have access to all websites in the western world.
Sure, it would be nice, but we're living in the real world.

The main reason this forum still exists is that the cost to Freeola can be offset against getting new customers for its web hosting business from inticing people to win GAD. While a few may be international customers, the vast majority will be from the UK.
Oh, and I never 'condemed' your view, I merely pointed out that you were moaning again without really justifying your point. As I said, I didn't mean to sound harsh, I just pointed out the possible reality of the situation.
> So the general consensus is telling me to go away?
I really don't care either way.
> Mm.. Another narrow-minded and simplistic view ...
Mm.. Another post by Ladybird moaning about something she doesn't like and then insulting someone who dares to disagree with her.
