No, they're all seperate, individual countries.

You couldn't be more wrong but ok. Scotland, England, Wales and Ireland are seperate sub countries all united under the name of one country hence the name the United Kingdom. I'm right, you're wrong. In some respects they are seperate countries like the fact that we can enter ourselves into sporting events under our own name but officially it is classed as the United Kingdom. Don't be difficult. You know it's true.

*slaps forehead* Think of them as sub-countries all united under one name as some kind of Supercountry which is surprisingly very small in the great scheme of things. That's why everyone who lives in the UK gets a passport issued for the UK. Not an English Passport or Scottish passport or whatever. In fact you don't need your passport for travelling between England/Scotland/Wales and Northern Ireland because you never leave the country.
