Had a hearing test done today as part of my hospital regime, and all is not well. My one hearing ear is deteriorating quite rapidly. The norm in a good ear is a hearing range of about 20-20,000Hz, six weeks ago it was about 250-20,000Hz in my ear with background noise, today it was about 450-20,000Hz. I've lost a range of 200Hz in just 6 weeks! You can do the maths.
For anyone who wants a sort of off-set, a middle C on a piano is about 260Hz.

I dont know if id even be suitable for the operation, that depends on a lot of things, but I suppose if i was it would be possible to raise the money over time
