On Saturday, a childhood hero of mine - David Rocastle - died of a form of cancer. He was 33.

My best friend's dad also died from cancer a few years ago.

I also fear cancer because, though I've never smoked, I grew up with two parents who were heavy smokers; my mum has since given up, but my dad continues to smoke reasonably heavily.

Now all of us with PC's or Mac's have a chance to assist in finding a cure for this disease.

...and download the software. It runs in your computer's spare cycles and analyses potential cures for cancer.

All other relevant info can be found on the site.

It's something about an unkown page fault.

a) Have you downloaded the correct version of the program for your Version of Windows?
b) Have you done a Windows Update recently?
c) Tried Scandisk and Defrag lately?
d) It could be corrupted Windows files, as a last resort you need to reinstall your version of Windows.

I'm assuming that no-one at SR objects to me having set the team's home-page to http://www.freeola.com ?

If so, let me know and I'll change it.

I download, install it, and then when it's supposed to lead me to the page where I register, my PC says it has performed an illegal operation, and the program will be shut down!!

It's something about an unkown page fault.

I will download it shortly at present time I have SETI home but it is at 96% so i will get it shortly!

I feel happy that Joe has joined us...
