> They took themselves too seriously, and it took fun out of the film.
I definitely noticed this - at least the first one had a bit of humour in it, the second two were about as comedic as a world war 2 german U-Boat Commander.
"Reloaded" I found entertaining enough.
"Revolutions" bored me.
I'll not be buying this DVD.
The Smith that was possessing the Oracle's space in the matrix had also inherited some of the Oracle's awesome power - hence the way he had the Sight (albeit a phalse prophecy devised by the Oracle) and the ability to fly and send Neo flying.
I think these three films are the best films I've ever seen (and I've seen alot of films) and as a whole, the trilogy delivers an epic and memorable story that lets you dig deeper if you want to.
They took themselves too seriously, and it took fun out of the film. Average.
You'd be surprised at the shocking amount of people I've talked to who said Reloaded had a crap plot, yet had no idea what it was.
> I didn't enjoy it because it wasn't a good film. Simple as that.
> Don't pull that "You must not have got it because it's a great
> film" crap. The film was a disappointment. I loved the first,
> liked the second, but the third WAS crap. No two ways about it.
I totally agree. It wasn't a good film at all, I went in that cinema thinking "I'm about to see the best film of this year"
It was frankly, Rubbish.
Long drawn out fight scenes, poor and forced acting. Cheesy ending sequence.
"Look what I did for Neo!"
