Revolutions managed to return some of the empathy that Reloaded lacked. In the original, you had a small group of people you knew well. You empathised with them, you cared for them. This was gone in Reloaded.

I definitely noticed this - at least the first one had a bit of humour in it, the second two were about as comedic as a world war 2 german U-Boat Commander.

Although I "got" all three films, I though each successive sequel weakened the story further.

"Reloaded" I found entertaining enough.
"Revolutions" bored me.

I'll not be buying this DVD.

Smith was a virus that infected everyone, just how a normal virus takes over our cells. So I guess when the virus is destroyed, the cell (or the person/program Smith has taken over) is released.

The Smith that was possessing the Oracle's space in the matrix had also inherited some of the Oracle's awesome power - hence the way he had the Sight (albeit a phalse prophecy devised by the Oracle) and the ability to fly and send Neo flying.

I think these three films are the best films I've ever seen (and I've seen alot of films) and as a whole, the trilogy delivers an epic and memorable story that lets you dig deeper if you want to.

Alright, I'll settle it once and for all. It was average. Not amazingly good, not excrutiatingly bad. Just plain average. The special effects are good, but they have long since been surpassed, and the plot has all the hallmarks of a GCSE philosophy student (do they teach that at GCSE?). But it gave an average ending to a series of films that, by all rights, should have been spectacular. All Keanu Reeves needed to do, was say "Dude" once in a while, and it would have been so much better. Even "Station!" would have done. Also, a fight against 1000 over robot Ted's would have rocked more than that bloke from Priscilla Queen of the Desert.

They took themselves too seriously, and it took fun out of the film. Average.

Reloaded I liked, but as when I was watching Episode 1 at the cinema, *I* got the plot, but had the feeling most non-die hard fans were scratching their heads with utter confusion.

Ah, but it's a fair generalisation to make from my experience.

You'd be surprised at the shocking amount of people I've talked to who said Reloaded had a crap plot, yet had no idea what it was.

I totally agree. It wasn't a good film at all, I went in that cinema thinking "I'm about to see the best film of this year"

It was frankly, Rubbish.

Long drawn out fight scenes, poor and forced acting. Cheesy ending sequence.

Then don't make generalisations. Unless you're saying, in general, MoJo is the man and he rules and all shall bow before him. Yes, that shall do...
