Wow, quite a lot going on really......

In other news, Tommy Hill is riding for the Swan team next year - who will be Swan Yamaha, not Swan Honda.

Apparently, there's potential for him to move within the Yam family too, providing he does well!

With the GP testing, I don't think it's really going to be an issue that Rossi was a long way down on times - Ducati have made it clear that they weren't looking for lap times (I guess they would though wouldn't they) - I think come february, if they're not fast then they'll be problems!

Rossi's shoulder operation has been a success.Apparently the damage was much worse than expected and surgeons were amazed he has able to ride with it at all.Anyway, he's laid up for 90 days which means he should be just about fixed by next February's test at Sepang.Jerry Burgess should have just about finished building his red M1 by then !.

Donington Park is back on WSBK calendar for round 2 at the end of March.I'll probably go but reckon it might be a bit on the cold side.Good news but it does seem a strange time of year to host a race in the UK,maybe the teams wanted to test out their tyre warmers ! ?.

Ten Kate Honda have just signed Ruben Xaus to partner Rea next year.Might be an idea to buy shares in Honda spare parts !.

Valencia test threw up a real mixed bag didn't it ?.Stoner was unbelievably quick on the Honda while Spies ended up just a fraction off Lorenzo,Simoncelli continued his impressive run of form while Crutchlow crashed a few times but ended up just .15 of a second behind Edwards (that's got to be promising). That just leaves one little team called Ducati !,if there is one rider who could possibly ride the thing bucking and weaving like Stoner did its Randy De Puniet and I was not at all surprised to see him be fast straight away on it but for Rossi it looks like there's serious work to be done if he is to tame the big red rocket.Don't get wrong I never expected him to blow everyone away as soon as he jumped on the thing but 15th after 70 laps wasn't exactly what I was expecting either !.I do genuinely believe the GP11 will be the most dramatically changed bike out there next season (compared to this years model) and it will of course be altered to accommodate Rossi's style (which as we all know is nothing like Stoners).I'm not overly concerned as I'm sure with Burgess, his crew (and a serious wad of Euro's!) they will get the job done.Lets not forget Rossi was 16th and 3.5 sceonds off the pace when he first tested the Yamaha in early 2004 and we all know what he did that year.I'm sure the Ducati factory will be by the busiest over the winter and I reckon the next test in February at Sepang will paint a very different picture indeed.2011 is going to be a very interesting season.

Have you seen the wings on the front of the 2011 Desmo ?,they may not be the most attractive things on the planet but suppose they should give the front end a little bit more stability in the fast corners ?.I know the 2010 season only finished 3 days ago but I really can't wait for next year !.

Oh dear,is someone never going to hear the end of it ? :)[/i]

I think I've heard the last of it now, but if you had snatched victory from the last race then there would've been problems!

GP was alright again, gutted for Hayden though as he was absolutely flying.Looked like another front end fold to me ?

Really enjoyed the GP actually, the races at the end of the season have been much better - it's been great watching simoncelli fighting with the other Hondas!

Yet again though it was the Moto 2 which upstaged the main event.Another edge of the seat job and a very surprising winner in the form of Karel Abraham. He may well be bankrolled by daddy but did he show that he can ride today or what ?

I'd agree, great racing - didn't think much of Elias' paintjob though sure it was a cunning plan to distract other riders (which backfired at bit though!).

Was wicked watching Scott redding scraping his elbows at the start of the race too.

You're probably right, Abraham will have a 'difficult' season next year, but he did ride well at the weekend. He seems to be one of those riders who is really good, or just bins it! I'm sure there's some middle ground there........

Moto2 was a great idea, hopefully moto3 will be as successful!

And of course HUGE congratulations to Mrs.Numnut who kicked all of our asses in this years Freeola Championship !

Did she? No one mentioned it..........

Think the BBC should have some testing coverage on their web site today as well.......

GP was alright again, gutted for Hayden though as he was absolutely flying.Looked like another front end fold to me ?,if so then that's quite a few Ducati have had this year (usually seem to be quite early in the races as well).Hopefully Mr. Rossi and Mr. Burgess will get to work on making the bike less prone to that over the winter.I'm sure they will.

Yet again though it was the Moto 2 which upstaged the main event.Another edge of the seat job and a very surprising winner in the form of Karel Abraham. He may well be bankrolled by daddy but did he show that he can ride today or what ?.Still reckon he going to get spanked in MotoGP next year though.Next years Moto2 entry list looks epic : Marquez,Smith,The Espargaro Bros,Kallio & Sofuoglu are all entering the series to join the likes of Iannone,Redding,Corsi etc., it's going to be one hell of a championship IMO.

And of course HUGE congratulations to Mrs.Numnut who kicked all of our asses in this years Freeola Championship !
