Awesome job by Cal Crutchlow,I wonder what odds you would have got on him out qualifying Rossi on his MotoGP debut? Hopefully it's a sign of things to come once he has fully got to grips with a GP bike.
I am correct in saying he is no longer orange? D;
He's as orange as David Dickinson! :)
Pedrosa Qatar 2011
Really looking forward to the GP this weekend,how fast was Scott Redding in Moto2 yesterday? In MotoGP, I too am expecting Honda to have the upper hand (for the first part of the season anyway).Overall Stoner clearly looks like being the man to beat this year.Great to see Spies generally the faster of the factory Yamaha's as well,be interesting to see how Lorenzo deals with that? As for Rossi,well you just never rule him out do you? 5th yesterday (and perhaps more importantly just 0.7secs away from the front) was an enormous improvement from where he seemed to be a few weeks ago.Simoncelli is my tip for this years surprise package,think he's going to be very strong.Shame Motegi has been postponed but that's hardly surprising, those guys have much more to worry about at the moment other than staging a motorcycle race.
From what he said after the race, I think Leon Haslam did pretty well too!
GP starts this weekend, and watching practice last night I can't wait!
Rossi up to 5th - infront of both lorenzo and spies. I know it's only practice but I'm sure Rossi hasn't stopped grinning!
Stoner was flying on the Honda - I think that as long as he keeps it upright he may well a shoe in for the title.
Roll on Sunday.....
