I started to think about this because most people I know say they don't go on forums. Now they could all be lying, because they're scared I might ask which one and then go on and discover all their secrets, or because they might think it's sad. But I mean I'm interested to know what percentage of people go on forums, and if we are a certain 'type' of person in any respects.
I'm expecting lots of abuse now, with comments like 'you can't categorise people into one type, etc.' but that's not what I mean, just what the common factors are between us. Something someone said about there being a lot of insomniacs on forums got me thinking.

So this is an excellent outlet for me
Like that eating your own cum (yuck) some people said "it's fine, it's natural" and some said "yuck, that's sad".
I would say i am a bit aggressive at times. But i am not the bets at english, i only got a C in GCSE, but i think i am quite capable to write down my feelings.
I go on another forum to seek help on making games and programs. I have a good reputation there and find it pleasent for people to look up to me.
I would say i go on forums mainly to talk to loads of people.
It never hurts to have friends all over the place. : )
I like the fact that even the absolute tools on this site occasionally come out with an absolute gem of a post. My absolute favourite was some kid posting about being in a fight and some other kid offering to lend him some 'Kurds and blacks' because 'they really like fighting'. How could I turn my back on a forum like that?
I also like posting while moderately drunk and then reading my own posts back the next day. I'm always pleasantly surprised by how witty, charming and grammatical I am.

Watch it, or I'll set my evil half onto you ...

I'm argumentative, depending on the company. I do talk quite a bit. But I loathed English with a vengeance. Personality traits.. I'm an unreformed coffee addict and insomniac. Who plays games.

That bit is a good point. Recently I discovered that my best friend's ex girlfriend was in fact a lesbian from stuff she posted on the net. I talked to her about it and she now sends me porn. I can't complain. :-P
Most forums have a theme, this one being video games, other ones are about cars, or cooking, or writing or politics or any other subject you care to name. That draws a lot of people, from all sorts of backgrounds, but who all share a common interest.
Oh and Goatboy quiet in real life? Funniest thing so far in 2004. I just can't believe that.

I think the notches on your bedpost beg to differ.
