Yes.

You mean the ones where they became millionaires?
The big reason I enjoyed watching/sympathising with David Brent is that so many people, me included, have that tendency to make a t*t of themselves and keep digging: "I wish I could shut up now but maybe if I said just one more sentence everything would be alright. Oh crap that's made it worse." I just loved watching him grow up, and especially realising that Neill still HADN'T grown up and was still laughing at Finchy's jokes.
The bit with the 'never give up' note reminded me of The Simpsons episode where Dustin Hoffman is Lisa's substitute teacher, and when he goes he leaves her a piece of paper that says 'You are Lisa Simpson'. Simple but effective. Never thought I'd be damp-eyed at a cartoon, never thought I'd be damp-eyed at a sitcom. It was just superb.

They should never have made the re-makes BUT this one was actually a very funny episode...
Not as good as "GARY" but still very funny.
Nothing beats the real FINAL 3 Only Fools and Horses episodes.
Keith on the decks. Another "Word of Advice". And eating another scotch egg.
That pregnant woman getting her come-uppance.
The agony of Dawn/Tim, the continuity of the artist idea that was planted long ago. Tim telling us that not all stories end happily, making the viewer understand it was indeed all over.
Shiela not getting her black guy. :(
And, of course.. "Never Give Up".
Brilliant television from two amazing writers and a stunning cast.
It was probably the first time his staff actually found some thing he did funny. I felt happy that after all this time, the one thing he wanted to be (funny/an entertainer) was being hinted at happening. Instead of Brent just being laughed at and making a horrible fool of himself.
