Just ordered this Dredg album, for pretty cheap off Amazon.

I wait with much anticipation.

I think it just means "never seen," doesn't it? Unless it means "never seen before"...

Isn't there a condition called Apres Vu as well?

Like when you really see something, yet one sees it again.....

Unlike Deja Vu where you recognise some part of it......

Jamais Vu confuses me. Never seen but seen.

Hmmmm.

Forgot these: Uplifting and Spitshine. I can find the lyrics if you like, not much point though.

Leitmotif is a harder, heavier album, although it still shows the same style and flare seen in El Cielo. It has the running themes, the interwoven songs, the small instrumental tunes etc.

Apparently the new album is going to be a sort of mix of the first two - it'll combine the more advanced features of El Cielo with the energy of Leitmotif. Or so said Gavin in an interview. I'll be honest: I'll buy it whatever. I can't see them putting out a duff album, but you never know I suppose.

They've actually been playing new tracks live for a while now. Some titles include: C-shells, Jamais Vu (opposite of "deja vu") and Tanbark.

Leitmotif is good for thrashy rocky action.

El Cielo is better.

Wonder what the new one'll be like...

Ah well.
But a new album sure would make me happy.

I'm getting to triple replies here, help me out guys. Anyway, I got a reply from Drew, the bass player, earlier, as I did last time I mailed them. Here's my email:

Hey guys,

I've heard that you'll be touring Europe and the UK this Summer, is this
actually planned or just more rumours? I live in the UK and would love to
see you
live - I missed out last time due to the Glassjaw tour being cancelled.

Also, if there is a UK tour, what kind of merchandise will be available? Is
the Crickets DVD given out still?

Cheers,
My name [(heh)]

Reply email:

hello your name..thanks for your interest...it is just a rumor..and as for the
cricket dvds...we are all out.....cheers.

Oh well, no Dredg tour this Summer. We can still hope there might be one scheduled, I suppose...
