Its more an action/adventure/RPG of the Fable nature from the looks. But you have multiple playing paths which is always good for playability.

White Knight Chronicles released Nov '09 Q&A
More Final Fantasy style'd then DA:O and apparently with great online capabilites so..... much awaited.

Demon's Souls released Oct 6th Info
More action/RPG again but hey, we can't afford to be picky. Game footage looks ok, and previews seems decent. The online aspect seems good, allowing users to pop in and help youat any time if you wish, but this quote troubles me "but we were told that at a certain point in the game--once you've received a particular stone--you can force your way into another player's game and vice versa."

Sent my copy of WKC back in the end, wasnt worth paying full price for (especially given I have no interest in the online). I'll get it again when its cheaper.

This is true, he i need tob ook SKy to come to mine to sort Broadband out, so i am online in time not to miss out on any of the action. As i imagine you guys will be the only ones on my friend list playing this game. Most my friends dislike RPG's lol

Well the online aspect is the reason we will be getting it I imagine Em. Lord knows we won't have time to do the signle player properly with FF13 being released so quickly after.

Just saw some more WKC trailers, really wana get my hands on this now, will be pre-ordering soon!

Dunno :) Its by no means bad. As far as RPGs go it ticks all the boxes. I think on reflection the multiplayer support has made the single player a little bit soulless.

So would you say people like myself and Warhunt will like it? Being massive Square fans and enjoying a range of RPG's??

Well, WKC is surprisingly dull. I think its the sort of game you can play if you're a fan of the genre and be happy. Difficult to love the game for itself though. Its all so "seen it all before". Its literally like they've taken parts from other Square-Enix RPGs and stapled them together.

Good stuff, i look forward to it, so many good games out and not enough time lol!!

From what I gather you can do the quests online with up to 4 people by building your own village. When your mates enter your village you form a group and chat to your villages questmaster.

You can increase your village stuff by playing through the main story, which I am not entirely sure whether you can do online. You go through and "recruit" NPC's to use to set up shops, quest hubs and special events.

It looks kinda like a console based WOW. As much as that is possible on a console. A bit more tactical than "fighty" as it were.

I'm going to try and convince Butch or McLong/Bob to give it a go so hopefully we can get a good team up.

Cool, im looking forward to playing it Online, so do we go through the story together and everything?? I was wondering if your all the same character or how it works, really should look into it lol.
