but Challenge TV is showing the first series of GamesMaster at 7.30pm most weekday evenings.

half an hour of supreme retro action, plus it seems a lot more innuendo laden now i'm older.. BONUS! :)

favourtite moment from yesterday was getting all nostalgic watching a PREVIEW of the Chaos Engine on the Atari ST, Amiga and "IBM" PC.. estimated realease date? July '92!!!!

game-pad IS the best games show on tv right now though. Ultimate Gamer on Sci-fi isn't TOO bad, but Gamezville... well, the less said about that the better. i despise it. the format, the presenters, the stupid "tips" (that are ALL codes to enter on the title screen) and the whole "proppa urban, innit"-ness of the damn show.
i have indeed emailed [email protected] and asked them politely not to make another series. i also emailed [email protected] and asked if he could shed any wisdom as to how a show this bad was ever commissioned.

i urge everyone to do the same and maybe we, as not only gamers, but as intelligent people, will never have to endure such hideous, stereotyped and painfully fake tv ever again....

Gamesville? now somehow it was entertaining in a cheesy way.

now we have gamepad - which isn't all that bad really, it does have some good stuff on it, and despite Violet Berlin having a terrible haircut, she has got a great chest.

Sniff, back in the days games actually "felt" special - they were inferior to the modern equivalent in every way, but somehow there was that feeling that games were more special then - possibly because of its then niche market. Nowadays, because it has become more common, it's just like going to the cinme regularly or listening to music.

What are we talking about again???

Big Boy Barry appeared on Gamesmaster in series one in a Sonic the Hedgehog challenge :)#
and Mr. (martin) Mathers also did a Gamesmaster challenge i believe (virtua cop i think?)

i'm all about gamesmaster at the moment, so many memories :)
plus it's kinda odd to watch it now knowing that everyone on the show despised Dave Perry....

this has been on since october (or even eariler). Suffice to say, some of the mistakes that lead to the player to lose is frankly terrible. Still, roll on the second series! or time commanders.

Fan-tan-tastic. Games shows from when I was first playing on my old Pentium 120! :D
