Are there any movies that you haven't seen for yonks that you've remembered recently? It's nice when you suddenly remember films that you haven't seen for ages.
I looked in the Sunday TV Mag yesterday and saw Flight of The Navigator.. that was a wicked film.. then I remembered D.A.R.Y.L, another good one.

Buy immediately, and if possible, get it together with “Bad taste” and “Meet the Feebles”, all by Peter Jackson (Yes LOTR fame.)

“Heavenly Creatures” is another good one by him, although “The Frighteners” left me cold.
That’s one thing that always tickles me, people tracking down Jacksons earlier films after seeing his Lord of the Rings Trilogy (well, the first two so far.)
“Oh, meet the Feebles? Peter Jackson? Muppets on acid? Must be good”
(cue forward a few hours)

I've got Bad Taste and The Frighteners already. Bad Taste is wicked, because you can actually see his skills behind the camera improving over the 4 year period it took to shoot it!
And, yes, I only heard of Bad Taste (although I had seen some of it before without realising) after Pete Jackson became uber-famous, but The Frighteners was got totally independent of this.
