Everythign is plugged in correctly, etc but under control panel > Sounds and Audio Devices, it still says 'No Audio Device'.
When I try to play something in Windows Media Player, again it says ' Cannot play back the audio stream, no audio hardware is available, or the hardware is not responding'.
Please please please does anyone know what's wrong, because I NEED my music???

No it does not tell me in the manual or anything that I can find what the card is. Damn
you're going to have to find out what specific card it is, and either find the disks you got with the card/PC, or if you're sure you didn't get any, log on to the manufacturers official site and download them.
