Hardly, I rent a flat in surrey, meaning I have to work up £400 for my half of the rent every month. That's before I getted ripped off for bills like Council tax, and my student loan repayments.

Yea, its not really fair to say "give us £77, if you dont and we find out, you'll be fined then made to pay £77"
£77 I think was for both a passport and an ID card.
Still a bit pricey compared to what other European countries charge for their ID cards, some even give them out free if people want them.
