This post was responded to by this bone-crackling reply: 'Oh poor you. My heart bleeds for you. I'm sure it's only just desserts seeing as you have managed to offend quite a number of people in your short time here.'

It cracked my bone alright: my funny bone. Although I'm not all that sure why 'desserts' were mentioned: no doubt some witty in-joke that has gone straight over my head. The whole 'not getting the sarcasm' thing was SO realistic!


Example the second:

'Touché'

Which got the reply of: 'Touch ey? you touch what? your self?'



Another great laugh was with someone NOT understanding a joke which said 'You're a bigger muppet than Kermit the Frog'. No, seriously, it went straight over their head! No, really! They didn't understand the joke! You hear about these kinds of 'special' people, but even my dead monkey (who I call Donkey) would have understood that joke.


A classic from the archives: "I only dislike one person here. That would be bessant for being such a moron while arguing he isn't while at the same time proving he is.". Its funny because its true.


What it all comes down to is this:
Do you ever get the feeling you're being played?

Timmargh and @ngel are oly just as annoying as the Zeppo 'hype'

Yeh i agree, i tell a simple joke and they have a go at me for not undersatnding their 'jokes' but its just ironic.

Why did Empy and everyone not realise that you were joking? Did you drug them, because normally they seem quite 'with it', but in this instance they were more 'ribbit'. 'Ribbit', of course, being German for 'Not feeling themselves'. Which in English means 'not w***ing'. Which in most countries means 'w***ing, but not admitting to it'.
