"IS the Playstation 2 to really worth spending 300 odd pounds?"

All im saying is that yeah the playstation 2 has a DVD in it, yeah it has the best Graphics any console has ever been able to produce but other console makers like Nintendo and Dreamcast will target this oppurtunity. They will bring out new consoles with better Graphics and better gameplay for a lot less than £300 making the Playstation a lot less popular for example the gamecube. If you think about kids these day dont have £300 lying around anywhere and there mum and dad arent just gonna give them £300 quid so my advice is either buy the gamecube or wait till the price goes down.

Because the date is for next year and it gives plenty of time for them.

has everyone here seen the gamecube spaceworld demo. i just love the link ganondorf fight. are those really gonna be like in game graphics?! Pi$$es all over PS2

er-no, how do you know whether any of the GameCube's games will be any good!?!?!

I don't think ANYONE's played any of the GameCube's games, apart from the developers. So you can't go boasting about the GC's games and then saying I don't know what the PS2 games will be like!!

Is it me or did some games get rished out?

whats the point of spending £300 on a console when there are no good games on it? because by the time there are good games for the console, it will drop in price.

nah nah.forget slaes of ps2,n64 etc........pokemon games are the top sellers. and end of the day they will always be under the nintendo tag
