"IS the Playstation 2 to really worth spending 300 odd pounds?"

All im saying is that yeah the playstation 2 has a DVD in it, yeah it has the best Graphics any console has ever been able to produce but other console makers like Nintendo and Dreamcast will target this oppurtunity. They will bring out new consoles with better Graphics and better gameplay for a lot less than £300 making the Playstation a lot less popular for example the gamecube. If you think about kids these day dont have £300 lying around anywhere and there mum and dad arent just gonna give them £300 quid so my advice is either buy the gamecube or wait till the price goes down.

But it will what is rushing them they've got lots of months to tweak them.

Then you haven't seen the demo from Spaceworld. Either that, or you're so Sony-loving that you're in denial. If it's the former, go watch it at ign.com; if the latter, then quit talking about ANYTHING pi$$ing all over GC's graphics, alright? Be happy with your PS2. But just because you're happy with it, it doesn't mean we have to be.

Nobody knows yet. Each of the consoles mentioned that aren`t out yet could have loads of problems on release and mess up big time.
As for the PS2, with no respect at all (as it isn`t due) your honour, I don`t think you know what you`re talking about. Nobody does yet.

I dont like to gloat, but i've been saying for ages that the PS2 would come in 4th place in the battle of the next gen consoles.

I alsl think that the X will do better than people on here suspect.

How do you know when it they are taking more time to make the machine better? But who cares about graphics....

yeah ant but are they in game graphics? i dont know, i just asking not arguing, cos i aint been bothered to look cos i aint hyped about anything with the word playstation in it.
