"Uk Rock vs US Rock"

We all know that most of the best rock music comes from america but anyone out there think that uk bands are much better than US like Sikth,OMS and others. I mean yeh most of my favourite bands are from US but i think when Uk bands are good they're very good much better than US

He was the only memeber constantly in Black Sabbath (ie since 1969) and therefore owns copyright of the name.

By the way, anyone know how the hell you pronounce Iommi? Is it just phonetic or is there something clever to it?
I've always assumed it's 'Eye-Ommy', but I'm doing a presentation tommorow at college on the history of metal, and I don't want to pronounce it wrong. Not that anyone in my class will ever have heard of him anyway...
Taking in an example, and since it's got to be short I'm going to take in Ozzy doing Paranoid live, with Mr Randy Rhoads (version on the RR tribute album, and essential Ozzy album), unless anyone can think of anything better?

Cooper Temple Clause are the best new UK rock act. Im my opinion.

Except for the Darkness, of course. They rock my world.

It's the original band, back together again. I read that Bill Ward (the drummer) had said that they had stopped for a few months while Ozzy was recording some solo stuff, but the project could well be back on the rails soon.
