Christian Bale.
You may remember his as the boy from the fantastic Empire of the Sun and as high-flying yuppie nutcase Patrick Bateman in American Psycho.
Hopefully the new Batman film will be much better than the last few efforts, which were pretty naff to say the least, still, time will tell I suppose.

OH MY GOD!
Stryke, it's Spider-Man! NOT SPIDERMAN!
HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO SAY THIS?!
GRUUUUUWWWWAAAAAAAHHHHHH!
I've seen it.
As for another batman - don't they think we've had enough from the winged idiot? Having arnie in the last one just pushed it from ludicrous to ridiculous, and I can't see where else the story can go.
Still, they may surprise us yet!

Ah, did not know that. Damn, he basically plays a vigilante-with-an-alter-ego in Angel, so he'd have been perfect for Batman. Shame. Bale will do, at least they didn't cast Pacey.

He auditioned for Superman, but Warner said that he didn't suit the role. They basically said "if you come back for the next Batman, we'd say yes".
...and Keaton was excellent in my view, just the two films being directed by Burton meant that it was hella dark and wayne became even more of a side personality to Batman as he already was in the comics.
Keaton pulled of the troubles aristocrat role perfectly, Wayne is not some playboy, he just pretends to be to keep everyone off the scent and is constantly being shadowed by his alter-ego, even when he's off being Bruce Wayne.
As for Batman vs Superman, either it would be a whole take on the way both of them do their work, Superman sticking to the rules and Batman just being the vigilante that he is, or it would be some evil infection thing (worst plot licence ever). In the comic sequel to Dark Knight Returns he does defeat Superman by inventing giant Kryptonite gloves and leaves Superman as a heap of putty. The end would, of course, see them working together.
Now how about Spiderman vs Hulk?
