Now it happened again yesterday and it was the very same people again (all dressed in their designer gear etc and all their rings and chains, now i don't mind if they were poor people who actually attempted to get a job once in a while but you could see these guys have no intention ever of getting a job, and thats the problem with this country.
never mind, only 2 more years until labour loses power and then this will not be a problem any more.
Thats okay until you hear that the 20 person strong group had spent their whole holiday causing trouble for other holiday makers around the site. Many females who were holidaying at the site put in complaints about the abuse they got from them.
Now before you lot go on about how many english people will do the same etc etc that is not the point.

Well we're not bordered by any refugee source country, airline flights are not free, yet tons of penniless refugees turn up here, hence they are obviously bypassing other countries to get to us. Think about it, how do you get from Iraq to the UK whilst not going through any other safe nation ? Africa, possible by container ship, and those from Eastern Europe have to go into the West to reach the UK. Therefore I believe in my use of "most cases".
Also, feel free to draw your own conclusions about me, it's one of my favourite things in life.
Bell, I don't pretend to know everything, that was kinda the point. I think this is all complicated, grey area stuff, and believe that the least helpful thing anyone can do is present a fact as if it's a self-explanatory opinion. I think the numbers of people taken by different countries is totally irrelevant. The point is how they're treated, and the point in britain (not just on this subject) is that people are way too willing not to know what's going on. But that's just my opinion.
And don't make assumptions about people being things like "sweet" when you've been here hardly any time at all, or we could end up making our own conclusions...
(I'm just waiting for you to tell us that that's different. just try it.)
Rosalind, you seem to be extremely sweet and willing to see all sides of everything. But should we really expect people to be grateful just for the opportunity not to be persecuted? Is that the only human right we have to worry about? And does no one feel a genuine sense of global responsibility? My feeling is that escaping from a repressive regime to here, meeting constant persecution that is not only endorsed, but incited by the major circulation newspapers, by members of Government and by anyone who fancies a pop...I'd make a fuss. I wouldn't commit a crime, but I wouldn't do that in any circumstances. Some people would. Just please, please don't get sucked into the tabloid mentality of making sweeping generalisations and believing it's possible to hate a whole group of people who have nothing in common other than the pattern on their red tape. It's just bad logic and lazy thinking.
Sorry to preach.
Also I agree with what Goatboy is saying, there is also people who are English who are just as lazy and who sponge off the government, these people will also proberbly never get a job in their lives.
