I was sitting in a bank in my local town (leicester) and a few weeks ago suddenly about 20 *foreign* people walked in with bits of paper and cheques. Half of them couldn't speak a word of english but they got a new window open for them so they could get free money and then go off again.
Now it happened again yesterday and it was the very same people again (all dressed in their designer gear etc and all their rings and chains, now i don't mind if they were poor people who actually attempted to get a job once in a while but you could see these guys have no intention ever of getting a job, and thats the problem with this country.
never mind, only 2 more years until labour loses power and then this will not be a problem any more.

Until an immigrant starts sleeping in my bed, eating my cornflakes and sits at my desk doing my work, I couldn't give a flying pish about them. Can any of you actually say your life has been affected in a negative way by an illegal immigrant? And if so, are you sure they actually got entry to this country illegally? Did you ask them? Or were you just going by the colour of their skin? I wonder.

Hah, that really made me laugh. It's a perfect description of how the Daily Mail see the world and how they try to manipulate us all to be. My parents are perfect examples of that style of thinking and it's annoying to see two perfectly capable human beings corrupted into believing society is actually like this. Hah, that really made me laugh. It's a perfect description of how the Daily Mail see the world and how they try to manipulate us all to be. My parents are perfect examples of that style of thinking and it's annoying to see two perfectly capable human beings corrupted into believing society is actually like this. It's the same with the BBC too - they're very "family values and God bless the Queen", but the fact that their most sucessful shows are repeats from the eighties says it all really - they can't move on.
Let's run with the anti foreigner feeling for a second. Will all people of Norman decent (that's English people in other words) please leave the country because after all they are immigrants to Britain too.

Can you imagine what would happen if the Lib Dems were in office? Too much hassle. They want regional parliaments in England. Bearing in mind that the Scottish Parliament is now set to cost over £400 million, I'm not so keen.
All em furners jest lay about stealing my money. No, they just aren't allowed to get jobs until the application is successful and even then there is a period after when they still can't work. Some are professionals, who have skills much needed in this country. Don't you think they would rather get a job and have lives rather than mere existences?

As mentioned below somewhere, the main problem isn't with immigrants, it's with the immense stupidity of the British public who let tabloid newspapers think for them - Daily Mail included.
People need to learn between "immigrants" "Economic migrants" "refugees" and "asylum seekers", all different entities.
But all you see in the newspapers are pictures of healthy, young males in groups. With generic fear mongering reports, today's was of donkey eating.
It's on a level with "Blimey! These darkies will eat your children!".
It's pandering to base prejudice and whipping up xenophobia - and most people are too busy watching Eastenders or just too plain stupid to actually go and read up the facts and figures.
We have worse problems than asylum seekers, it's just easier to point the finger at Johnny Foreigner than it is to look inwards and see a failing education system, an infrastructure in ruins, deceitful lying governments, stupd people having stupid children and a general disintegration of "Our England".
Why should we take the blame when we can point at some confused person recently off the boat?
No, it's not apathy that has caused this country to fly promptly down the toilet no sir.
It's immigrants fault that voters had their lowest turn out in history at the last election.
It's immigrants we can blame for a rising illiteracy rate amongst kids who's parents are interested in educating them or showing them adequate love and attetion instead of stuffing them with burgers and letting tv raise them
It's immigrants who are to blame for a country that has more people phoning in to vote for a televised talent contest than showed up to vote in by-elections.
Don't foist your apathy, disinterest, bigotry and expectation that you are owed anything simply because you were born here onto immigrants.
You're unhappy about it? Write to your MP, write and start campaigns against...what exactly? Give me an example of how immigrants have cost you any taxes whatsoever. Oh...oh, I'm talking to those that actually do pay taxes, not those of you who live with ma and pa and don't pay anything other than national insurance because you're over 16.

I'd suggest those that complain use this internet to look at the statistics for levels of immigration into this country and actually look behind a scaremongering headline intent on keeping you scared, inside your house watching crap tv and too worried about foreigners. Keep you frightened and inside, because it's easier to get away with things like Iraq that way.
