Can someone tell me if this is a regular accurance in all Region 2 Daredevil DVD's. I played the film on a standard 4:3 TV and I am experiencing a purple line constantly flickering through a couple of the scenes in the film. Its between Chapters 20 - 23 and the line is half way between the bottom of the TV screen and the bottom of the widescreen picture.
I only got it last Thursday but I don't want to send it back if it is just a video transfer problem with all Region 2 Daredevil DVD's.

Its better than Spider-Man by a long shot and as a DVD its one of the best this year. Some great exras and it has possibly the finest DTS sound track I have heard yet.
It doesn't try to be anything special like Spider-Man. Its cheesy is places, its predictable and over the top. Despite that its just a decent action film that doesn't try to revolutionise or stretch the genre in anyway. I own a lot of the classics on DVD now and considering the quality of films released so far this year I think Daredevil rates pretty highly.
The days of The Rock, Goodfellas, Casino and Heat etc are over. Its now a battle between the box office and who can patch out the most respectable DVD.
