"Daredevil DVD problem..."

Can someone tell me if this is a regular accurance in all Region 2 Daredevil DVD's. I played the film on a standard 4:3 TV and I am experiencing a purple line constantly flickering through a couple of the scenes in the film. Its between Chapters 20 - 23 and the line is half way between the bottom of the TV screen and the bottom of the widescreen picture.

I only got it last Thursday but I don't want to send it back if it is just a video transfer problem with all Region 2 Daredevil DVD's.

Like I said. As a DVD its probably the best released this year. Pretty good film, decent extras, awesome DTS soundtrack and the translation to DVD is excellent.

Yes, I do only own one DVD. The reason being I don't tend to watch films more than a few times, maybe forgetting about them for years before I see them again, so I rent DVDs instead of buying them. Altogether I've probably rented more than 100.

I don't see why I have to do this. Daredevil is a sub-par film. I don't need to list good films to prove this.

I just thought that with negativity towards certain films then you must have some sort of taste. Just as a matter of what I should be getting then list your top 10 films that I should get on DVD.

I do?
I'm able to distinguish a terrible film from other films I've seen in the past, and recently. If that means I know a lot, then hell, I must be a film genius.

Oh and by DVD I am looking at the package as a whole and not just the film. I remember that you only own '1' DVD so I just presumed with all your negativity that you knew what you were talking about. If not give me 10 films that I should own on DVD for the fact that they are quality films.

Deep Blue Sea is the same. Good Saturday night film yet its completely over the top and cheesy in places. I don't think there has been an action film yet that isn't cheesy in places.

The problem is that you bought Daredevil on DVD.

Its better than the ballax that was Spider-Man. Compared to the majority of bull that has been released this year I think as a cheap action film its good enough for me.

No, you see this makes a BAD film. GOOD films are not like this.
