I think this seems like a good idea but if you guys don't like it just let it die, however, if this works out I'll make a smackdown thread soon enough.

The guy isn't there to put on a 60 minute wrestling masterclass... He's there for the entertainment value. So what if all of his matches are the same, its not as if we see him week in week out and I for one still like seeing him in the WWE.

I agree. They always have a face commentator (JR/Cole) and an ex-wrestler that gets on with the heel wrestlers (Tazz/King) and i think it was good to get someone in who is a total heel (Coach) and if anyone has seen Simon Deans entrance, the Coach gets up and gets a Simon System bar from Dean during the entrance that i thought was quite funny. (Might have been on HEAT). I thought it was temporary for Vengeance but it looks to be permanent, but i think it will be good. Maybe King is thinking of retiring.

I am glad they kept Maria...i agree that she has no talent as an interviewer whatsoever but i do like seeing her on the screen and i thought this weeks segment was fairly funny.

i thought it worked really well, Coach is a total heel, JR is a total face and Jerry Lawler is a tweener/loveable heel who covers the pervy remarks.

that's fair enough, i retract all complaints :D
Styles on commentary
Gertner on ring announcing
Okerlund on backstage interviews
Dream Team!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Speaking of commentary, have the WWE gone for a 3 man team on Raw now? As Coach was there for the whole show...maybe to take some of the burden off JR?

That would be too easy...I'm coming from the direction of making the most of what you've got...
