I've made a RAW thread which is basically for discussing what happens on RAW. Every week just talk about what happened on RAW, I never actually see that much talk about each show so I've decided to make this thread. Whatever you do PLEASE don't put any spoilers in or if you really have to do it after Friday Night.

I think this seems like a good idea but if you guys don't like it just let it die, however, if this works out I'll make a smackdown thread soon enough.

Heh there's more chance of Trips putting someone over than Hogan

Orton used to do the whole spitting thing and i was surprised at some of the people he spat on.

Never know. Hopefully Hogan will just beat up Carlito :D, although saying that...the new IC champ should be made to look fairly tough, so i am wondering whether he will be made to look bad or whether they may use Hogan to get him over as champ? :S

Can't see Hogan getting spat on with an apple, although anything is possible what with the morons that are the creative team.

Just found out that this week Hulk Hogan will be on Carlitos Cabana.

Raw wasn't really all that great this week, yet again. I had to seriously resist the urge to turn off my TV and go to sleep during the crapfest that was the 2005 Diva segment. That was quite literally tear-inducing rubbish.

The three-way commentary possibly indicates that maybe Jerry "The Moron" Lawler has had enough. I certainly hope so, seeing as his repetitive whining about puppies really has grown boring over the years. Surely JR won't be leaving because commentator on Raw is a job he's probably not going to leave until he dies (which sadly won't happen for another decade or so yet), and having two heel personalities on commentary just wouldn't work anyway. The face always has to be a bit of an idiot as well - a job which JR and Michael Cole perform in supreme fashion.

There was one positive aspect of Raw which we've failed to recall, however. Good old Trips wasn't involved whatsoever. Apart from in Angle's speech... but then again, he was getting rightfully slated, so I was happy with that.

To address the question about Promotion Wars, my personal opinion of a wrestler won't affect anything. The key is in their skills. If they are over but lacking in ring skills, then (most) fans will still like seeing them.

Somehow i doubt a few wins against the fat tub of goo that is Viscera will get them over.

No having the likes of Viscera on your show will affect your ratings :-D

Me too. He is one of the all time favourites and i must admit i was shocked to see him there.

The backstage segment with Y2J, Christian and Tomko all thinking about who it might be made me think that it definately wouldnt be any of the 3 named because it would ruin the surprise but when Hogans music hit i loved it!
