At 4:30pm every Thursday, we will be awarding a Gaming Award for a technical post - giving you another chance to win a free game (or a £30 Amazon voucher) each week!

Simply write up a (fairly) comprehensive guide or tutorial about how to do something technical and you will be in with a chance of winning. You can enter your submission at any time to be in with a chance of winning (not just on Thursdays).

If you submit after the deadline, then your submission will be considered in next weeks' competition.

If there are no submissions made, then the award will be donated to charity -- So get posting!!

Have a look at the previous (technical post) submissions to get an idea of what we're looking for.

Remember, you can win any game of your choice each week - submitting a technical post is one of the many ways to do so.

I'll put £20 on phuzzy winning. He's took a leaf out of cjh's book with all that complicated code writing ;D

Well, we also take in to account the relevance to Freeola visitors - so whilst writing a detailed article on 21st Century Biophysics or how to make your own MRI Scanner would be amazing... Things more related to websites, internet and Freeola Services would probably be more ideal :)

Yeah, thanks! :P It's the first tech post i've done, and i looked at previous winners, and noticed they were all in the other forum. I'll remember that for next time ;D

I know what you mean pete. The amount of detail some of these guys put in their posts is extraordinary. I'm expecting cjh to have a technical post all ready to post ;P

I might just have time, but I never win because I'm just not as technically knowledgable as some of the others here.

Wish i did, but got a day off work tomorrow and so i am rushing to clear things (however, my previous posts are still a useful guide and a great read for anyone lol)
