My school also does that, is it Castle?
upon reaching the office, i was told to take a seat, and to my horror the deputy head pulled out a box of "RUBBER PLIMSOLES" and told me to put a pair on. The sizes went up to a size 14 so the was no chance of me saying they where too small.
it gave my mates a laugh anyway

Batman's gonna be so jealous...
It got to the point where they just stopped giving me any.
If so, you did impressively well to stop your parents finding out.
There was this small fat kid picking on me back in year 7, he would steal my pencil case and put glue in it, or punch me in the face. Popped my nose once. What a little dick he was. Anyway, he was annoying me all through an RS lesson, and afterwards the teacher put us both on detention for talking! I was so shocked I didn't even bother to argue! Anyway, my brother and sister had never had detentions... ever. And there was me in my first year of highschool. I forged my mum's signature on the detention form and went along.
In year 9 I was on detention almost every week for being late with my geography homework. As always, I kept on forging my mum/dad's signature. I had no idea how they would react, so they never knew about them. But they were easy, all you had to do was hand in the work and you could go.
In year 11, a few teachers enforced the rule where you have to go on "central detention" if you continually don't hand in your homework. So, as you can imagine, I did a load of them. They're like normal detention, but everybody is in the same room and it lasts an hour and a half (usually, it's up to the teacher as to how long it lasts)
Funny... all these years on and my parents still don't know I had all those detentions. Must've had dozens in my time there.
Our teachers used to leave school before us
