Hi,

Has anyone seen their new ADSL2+ line speeds take effect yet?

I say this because my router is still showing the 8Mb sync rates and its almost 10pm.

Thanks,

Neil

Hope you had a pleasant Easter.

I wasn't expecting any reply over the Bank Holiday.

I have noticed though, that your adsl checker page has 're-rated' my line from

'now upto 8MB - adsl2+ upto 16MB'

to

'now upto 5Mb - adsl2+ upto 7Mb'.

This is quite an unexpected surprise. There has been no physical change to my equipment at all.

My router connect rate is still capped at 7616/448. Previously it was *always* 8128/448. This happened approximately the day you told me my circuit was switched to adsl2+ (not my line).

Neil.

Hello,

I'm really sorry about the hold up. Apparently there are a few problems getting ADSL2+ switch overs working (not sure if this is a network or BT problem) but I have been told that this should be resolved within the next couple of days.
Apologies for not replying sooner over the Easter weekend.

Hi,

I don't appear to have been switched yet.

Any ideas?

Apologies for not getting back to you sooner. I was off yesterday. Our systems are showing that a regrade is going through on the 10th to enable ADSL2+. I will try and keep an eye on this for you.

You were right, but the link below was a 'Retry Error'.

Not having a lot of luck with this lol.

EDIT: Retried sometime later and got info.

I'm not an RSS 'user', but after some experimenting it looks like your FF RSS options are set to: 'Always use live bookmarks' - hence the dialogue box you see.

You can change this in:
Tools>Options>Applications>Web Feed and change it to 'Preview in FF'. Then when you visit the URL you should see the information!

Nope.

Blank, untitled page with Add Live Bookmark popup box.

Nothing else.

The data is in RSS/XML format.
Below the 'subscribe to this feed' option you should see the "Interconnect / status checker" information for your line.

It works for me in IE7 and FF3.
