What troubles me about 9/11 is that if it had happened to some financial building in Africa. The coverage wouldn't have been anything like it was.
i have summed it up to people before and they have agreed that it been considered an even worse crime because:
A bunch of rich, white Americans died.
They are somehow more important than other people in the world.
This sickens me and lessens my sympathy for America.
Obviously I'm generalising but I think my point is clear.

That may be true but it didn't happen in a third world country it happened in America and it was the ease of being able to see the coverage so quickly that made it so shocking. You probably wouldn't have been able to get the same coverage from Africa but I don't believe the tradegy would have been any less shocking or easier to forget.

Rich? Who said they were rich? I was under the impression that most of them were ordinary people just doing a days work to earn a living as you or I would.
Lastly - it wasn't only Americans that died!
I know I was going to state something else but it has deserted me for the time being.

Exactly. Sad but true.
Sad but true.

Its funny you talk about respect and then demonstrate a total lack of it in dealing with such a topic.
