Wouldn't you want to go to something like that?!?! I think I should propose that one of the theatres in Edinburgh acts out that all singing all dancing episode of Buffy The Vampire Slayer. You're allowed to do that as long as you pay liberties aren't you? That'd be great, hard to find someone as fit as Sarah Michelle Gellar though. Anyway this post was written on impulse and nothing will come of it but I just want to see how many people would like to see that. **Gets note pad** GO!

Fair point, by Season 7 of Buffy they'd resorted to "We need to defeat the Big Bad. I know! Trademark Powerful Weapon backed by Willow's New Almighty Spell! Worked last time."

This is why Season 6 has the most powerful ending to a Buffy season. Xander talking Willow down without any supernatural powers at all.

They brought Smoking Man back? What did he do, cry?

"Where's ma boy?"
"Gone."
"Oh...Laters then"

:D

Admittedly, I would have liked to see Doyle hang around for longer. Disagreements with Fox lead to you dying though, heh. And "Hero" is still one of the show's most powerful episodes.

"The good fight, yeah? You don't know until you've been tested...I get that now."

"I guess we'll never know, if this is a face you could learn to love?"

Think of it this way, in how many other shows could the main character die giving the show HUGE ratings and then have another series? Buffy The Vampire Slayer is such a versatile show that it can go in many directions that other shows couldn't.

They brought him back you know, in the very last episode, an admittedly poor re-appearance.

Plus, he was smoking through his neck.

As for Buffy, I used to watch it, I dunno the series, the one where the school gets destroyed? The next series sucked, Angel left etc. The first series of Angel was pretty good (the episodes with Doyle in) though.

Just have to add that the Smoking Man made me stop watching X-Files. Absolutely dire plotline.

She's died twice. And it's a supernatural program, so you're not exactly surprised when stuff like resurrection comes into play.
