Looking at the replay at the time, Barrichello was going round the corner just before the one Massa crashed at and something broke at the rear of the car. I thought I saw something hanging off the back of the car and I'm guessing that is what flew off and hit Massa.
As for Button, the team just wanted to make sure that Button's suspension was okay before sending him out. It's why he only did 1 run at the end.
Hungary is very rarely a race that has a lot of drama so it probably needs Hamilton to get away from the dirty side of the grid and take the lead if we are going to have any kind of race at all. If one of the Red Bulls get ahead, it is probably all over.
UPDATE: Massa was knocked unconscious. Telemetry has Massa with his feet on the accelerator and the brake at the same time. He is not racing tomorrow.
