Been through a few redundancies myself from taking voluntary redundancy to being a causal observer to being in taking notes for the people but something about this one has just hit harder. This lot really made me feel part of the team despite the ocean separating us but it is also clearly the wrong decisions that have been made and from a very short sighted view. From my own point of view, my status has been upgraded as such which is just laughable as the knowledgeable people I rely on have all been removed. 75 years worth of knowledge gone I was informed. Oh well, business as usual it seems.
Sounds familiar! Upper management have some funny ideas.

Morning,
well Blue Monday turned into Black Tuesday with the out of the blue redundancies that went on at the US office I work for. Not sure who is left but the moves that were made do not suggest much of a future. Good bunch of people who didn't deserve that. Not entirely sure how it affects me yet but I expect to be back in my normal office sooner rather than later. I do at least have that option.
Well I hope that things turn out OK for you. Been through several possible redundancies over the last few years and it's not nice thinking about these things with the uncertainty and everything.

Morning.
Just one of those Mondays again. Don't know about 'Blue Monday', it's the same as always.
You can laugh pb ... another 'Monday' when a ladybird has just walked across my screen ... thought it was the mouse pointer to begin with ;¬)
I digress...another 'Monday' ... last Monday, I was drenched, today ... the same! 10am until 3.15pm 'wetting drizzle' and no respite! Really don't know how those that work indoors survive during this type of weather, must be catastrophic to their system ;¬)
