Electric or manual controls are usually on the righthand side of the seat base itself. Those vehicles with 'memory settings' have an additional control set on the righthand door.
Yes, use seat adjustment all the time. I'm sure every car after my Morris Traveller has had it! I prefer to see over the bonnet.
Cold again today but no ice on the pavement while walking to the bus, which is an improvement. Need to get some more time for playing Yakuza 0.

We've always had a car with 'height-adjustable' driving seat ... does help.
During my 10 years working within the 'motor' industry, it was always surprising how many drivers didn't know that facility existed in the car that they were driving or had been driving for a few years!

They've never bothered me in any of the cars we've had with a heated screen. I put it down to a 'height' difference when seated ... Mrs DL is 5' 5" and I'm 6'

Do heated windscreens cost more to replace or repair?
I had an away day in NW England yesterday. Long drive home after a long day of listening so knackered today. It was at least nice to get away from the chaos at the US office.

Can't get on with heated screens, my dad has one and I find myself looking at the filaments when I'm in the car with him. Just don't seem to be able to "unsee" them!
Five minutes with air con on seems to work for me though.

Engine running, heater to max, blowers on screen, heated screen on ... after 3-4 mins ... put wipers on intermittent sweep ...
