Have had a few icy mornings during the last couple of weeks up here. You ought to get a car with heated front screen pb ... warm water is a sure way to crack the screen!
Can't get on with heated screens, my dad has one and I find myself looking at the filaments when I'm in the car with him. Just don't seem to be able to "unsee" them!
Five minutes with air con on seems to work for me though.

Morning again.
First icy morning of the year here. Almost slipped several times just pouring warm water on the car windscreen to get the kids to school (youngest has a WWII evacuee day, so was all dressed up for it).
Forgot how much I hate ice.

Well, I'm online now and I was lurking earlier!
Sky engineer is currently adding a new LNB box to our dish for Sky Q. Managed to get the price down to what we'd been paying for our standard Sky, so went for it as it's a bigger box, I can watch in another room and record more channels without the dreaded conflict popping up.
I'd go back to Freesat but I had problems with every box and it's a bigger initial outlay for a decent box that has enough space.
I was out having a nice bonfire in my frosty garden...
Hopefully this was just a hiccup and I haven't been hacked!

So it was 'pointless' you watching a re-make of a flesh-eating virus while staying at a remote cabin film! How many remote cabins have you stayed at?
Guess these sort of films are totally pointless anyway ... hardly going to be memorable in the annals of movie history
Eli Roth, DL, not a bad director/ writer/ actor when it comes to horror films. He's generally quite inventive, and often the first to establish a particular strain of horror, mostly with a relatively "real life" edge. I'm not saying that rotting teenagers in a remote cabin is likely to happen, but it is, at least, not "monster goes wild in subway".
Hence the remake was pointless. The original was exactly that, original, and really didn't need a fresh coat of paint. But I don't make a judgement unless I watch, so I did.

Watched the most pointless film remake last night: Cabin Fever...
The film crew obviously decided fairly early on that it didn't really need re-making, 'cos it was pretty much identical in every way. Barring the actors, you could probably run the two side by side and play "spot the difference"...

Sounds familiar! Upper management have some funny ideas.
Funny how they always seem to be around after the 'culling' season...in the same position but with a 'new' description ;¬)
