Merry Christmas and
happy new year to all
Hello again. Avatar hasn't changed, I see.
Nope still a Forest supporter!
Good rant and you were perfectly right to rant ... we live just off Jnc 23 M1, not South Brum but .... :¬)[/i]
Darn - 1 junction too far. I get off at Junction 23 A :)

Sounds like a bad situation. .
It has definite potential to be a bad situation. I don't believe he went through my stuff although I now understand why she asked me to hide the rent money. I think he used the bed / dressing table to access the internet. Too stupid to work out the WiFi access.
Update? Well landlady called me to say she was back safely, had a fab time etc. and she will tell me all about it on Monday when I see her but I know she hasn't read the email I sent her yet.
Not willing to move out yet but definitely ready for it if needs be. She does know, but I will remind her, that if I see him again I will be out of there like a shot. She knows I can stay with my elderly in-laws. They love me and spoil me but live too far away for me to be happy with the commute. I like her. She has a big heart, is friendly, funny and intelligent - except for her blind spot over this guy.
I also suspect she will not learn that he stayed over last night until I tell her but I will speak to her Monday about this. I'm not going to be happy about the conversation, do not want to be the cause of a row between them, but I will be what? Resolute, adamant? Could be posting from a whole new address next Monday ><

Another old face back again.

What I'd like to see is transporter technology and food replicators.
Speaking of Star Trek, it's the 20th Anniversary of DS9 this week (yesterday, to be precise). I can't believe it's been 20 years since the show aired. I have all the DVD box sets of the show and I'm tempted to start re-watching them again, though I'm still getting through the HD TNG boxes too.
