I agree the medallion is a strange one)
@pb Day 1 and another 364 to go ... get a life
Now I end up dog sitting anyway. Bull Mastiff is terrified of the noise :)
Other ways to save money;
Get rid of the TV - save a licence fee and electricity.
Turn off the lights and go to bed when it gets dark instead.
Never go outside unless you're being paid to.
Don't wash. Think of all the water you'll be saving.
Walk around naked, it will mean your clothes get less worn because they're worn less.
Happy New Year everyone. I did catch the Thames firework display on TV, it did look quite pretty though even if it did seem to go on a bit.
CBA with New Years Eve, the money you have to spend to go out can get you a much better experience most other times of the year.
CBA with CBA pete! Do you mean that it's too expensive to venture out to local hot spots to enjoy the forthcoming start of a new year, only to discover that your local pint of smooth now costs you the price of a good second-hand car? Happens everywhere!
It's all relative and the 'New Year' thingy is only relevant to those under the age of 25 and single, those couples without offspring and anyone the wrong side of 40 who hasn't really admitted that their medallion doesn't still 'pull the birds'. Stick with it pete, you'll have a better life :¬)

I also once thought I saw you on a bus in Brighton Chris but it wouldn't have been you... Could it?[/i]
I've never been to Brighton, so no, it wasn't me. I was opposite the OXO building, right behind some boat. Could barely see a thing.
It has to be in the house as she hasn't been out since Saturday.
Check the fridge and waste bins ... Mrs DL's favourite 'hiding' places.
Just waiting for dinner now and trying to work out exactly where youngest daughter's 3DS has gone. It has to be in the house as she hasn't been out since Saturday.
