Sounds like a bad situation. Having shared accommodation with similar types I can understand the annoyance. Sounds like you are better off away from it all, even if the place and the utilities might not end up being as good.

Evening,

Must have a really nice dentist there pb but then these younger dentists have a much nicer manner then the older ones. Plus the fact that innovations in dentistry have made the whole thing less painful. Although dentists still scare me to death I make sure I go twice a year. I have a new young dentist and, although he did exactly the same work as my old one, it was less uncomfortable than usual.

I'm here to gripe and vent so I don't get into a slanging match with the slimeball who is currently in the house. Where to start..?

To keep my job I have to travel 130 miles on a Monday am from West Yorkshire to Longbridge in South Birmingham. I travel back Friday lunchtime. While here I needed to find a room to rent and this place was perfect. House owned by a female my age, 5 mins drive from work, cable broadband with the modem in my room so I can hardwire to the internet, and I can smoke in here. Perfect, absolutely ruddy perfect. When I came to look around I was introduced to the boyfriend on a "he will not be around while you are here during the week". Okay, suits me.

By the time I'd moved in he was here "just to help out while my hand gets better". He seemed nice, really he did, bit creepy but nice enough. He insisted on feeding me (I could play Can't Cook / Won't Cook by myself and still lose) at least once a week. Well her hand got better and he stayed around. Didn't last, he gets kicked back to his own flat, she's in bits, I'm trying (and failing) to be sympathetic. By this time I couldn't stand the guy and told her "if he comes back I'm off".

Well he came back, muggins here stayed around on the premise (sp) of this being a perfect place for me and you are not frightening me off. Didn't end well, he gets kicked out again, she's even worse this time round and I'm no longer being sympathetic.

When he got booted the second time around she learned of certain secrets that he'd kept from her. Helped her to feel better, swore she would not see or help him again. I recently suspected otherwise but she never came out and told me. Can't truely blame her after all I said about him last time.

She is on a long holiday while I, with the aid of a neighbour, look after her cat.

Here's the kicker. He's back on the scene but he's obviously been told to not be here while I am. She must have told him that I cannot stand him but how could she believe that he could be in and out of the house without me knowing? I know it was mean but I did trick her into confessing to me that he would be cat sitting while I wasn't here. This guy only has to touch a clean tea towel and it looks as if it's been used to wipe a coal face. He is the dirtiest clean guy I know. Simply knowing that he's in the kitchen again closes the back of my throat up and no, that's not as good as it sounds for my diet!

He will be, and always has been, under strict instructions not to go in my room and has been told never to go into my food cupboard. After 2.5 weeks at home I come back and feel like daddy bear from Goldilocks. Yep, someone obviously been in my bed (immediately stripped and thrown in the washer) with crumbs and lettuce on my dressing table. Lettuce? So obviously not mine. Food cupboard had little in it but still I have the urge to throw it all out as I can see someone has been through it.

Oh the daddy bear bit? Someone been here and THEY ARE STILL IN THE HOUSE! Gutted. Need a cup of tea but am not leaving my room while he is roaming around. I hate to be rude almost as must as I dislike him. I do not want to see him and have to be polite but find I am now having fantasies about him. Drowned in a bath? Hung himself out of a window? Electocuted himself? Set himself alight (oh scrap that - the cat and I would need to make a run for it if that happened).

This time, if he's in here Monday, I will pack up, turn around and leave. Anyone live in South Birmingham with a room to rent? ><

Morning.

Kids have their dentist appointment today. At this stage they're still seeing it as a fun novelty. Long may that continue!

Morning.

Hopefully catching up on website content today if the kids allow me. Want to get some more of the stuff that came out in 2012 reviewed on both sites before we do our top 10s.

We rented a flat in central. Had a party and charged people £10 entry plus £10 if they wanted alcohol and food. It went really well.[/i]

Glad to hear you enjoyed new year Alfonse.
