Yep, that pretty much sums Vids up nicely. I think I only used to see a bit of that, it was on late after Bits.

I think I watched a couple of those, back when I had a bad television reception at uni. Had to position my aerial just in the right spot to get something watchable.
I think they had something similar on channel 5, clips from obscure tv shows and film from around the world.
