So go write it in your journal, don't keep it locked up inside.

Lucky no college then. It's worse when you have to go out with no sleep.

Holy monoly Ninny..
It's good to read bits of your mind and I agree with the personlity trait rubbing off thing. I used to do it, still do but not half as much. Probably because you were never really happy with how your own personality was so Hey! Let's borrow part of theirs! Even then, it's still false because you have to work work work to keep it but you eventually turn it into you and how you are, then you start to dislike it. Other people show theirs much better.
Ugh, too early, though it's great.

You've not slept yet have you? You got college today?

I think you're aiming too low looking an minor impairments that actually have very little bearing on peoples lives.
As for your diversity thing, yes we're diverse but maybe too much. We spread out too far from our natural instincts and functions. Think about it this way. What good would a group of intellectuals be if they didn't have a society that provides and looks after them. At nature they're advanced but useless and maybe natures way of getting rid of these useless thinkers is mental or physical illness. Making it more difficult for them to pass on these useless advancments.

"Do you think that once we're damaged it's a design of life that it becomes difficult for us to carry on living? I'm thinking Darwinism here. Those who are damaged aren't meant to carry on biologically or socially and weaken the gene pool. Illness is seen a weakness."

Basically what I'm saying is that it's not just about survival of the fittest/undamaged.

Damage can be good.

For instance: it could be said that a person is slightly damaged by taking a vaccine but the vaccine allows their immune system to deal with, and be strengthened against, the full-blown disease which a non-damaged person wouldn't be.

The same could be said for emotional damage helping youto cope better with a similar situation further down the line.

Edit: I think I mean 'vaccine'. Flu-shots etc.
