Anyway it's not that clear, life is diverse and the more diverse it gets the better chance it has of surviving.

It's not all about the survival of the fittest, but also the 'luckiest' and the 'adapted'.

Good evening gentleman. How ya doing?

It's only 5:20 and i'm feeling tired. Looks like an early night for me.
I blame Ms D, she's clearly a corrupting influence keeping me up all night.
Psychology work sucks at the moment and i cant be bothered with it. Added to that i was finding it difficult to type without numerous errors.
Do you ever get the feeling you're drifting through life? Just letting things come and go. I do and i'm tired of it

How strange. I think i'm turning into ms D. Well i do have a tendancy to pick up character traits of people i admire. I wonder if that makes me me or just bits and pieces of other people. Who i am? I'm damned if i know, i know who i'm trying to be, or rather i know who i'm not trying to be. I'm not trying to be one of those people who make me sad, who leave their wives, who abandon their children, who cause misery to all around them, who cant be trusted etc, but surely thats not a personality. Thats an anti-personality. I've been surrounded by those people all my life and i have hated everyone of them, all of them male as well. I grew up not knowing who i wanted to be, just knowing it wasn't them and yet i can see those traits in me. I've never had a good male role model who didn't dissappoint me. Maybe thats why i'm more feminine. I've never been able to identify with guys because they all seem like such jerks. I remember how offended i was a while back when someone called me a man. "How dare they, i'm better than that".

Do you think that once we're damaged it's a design of life that it becomes difficult for us to carry on living? I'm thinking Darwinism here. Those who are damaged aren't meant to carry on biologically or socially and weaken the gene pool. Illness is seen a weakness.
I remember being in hospital when i was 12 and looking around me at all the people who had been diagnosed with cancer and leukaemia and thinking how nice they all were and then thinking of all the horrible kids i knew who were in perfect health. Is being nice a genetic weakness? Does being generous, kind and helpful promote weakness instead the natural selection of survival of the fittest?
Maybe some of us have advanced too far from our natural instincts and depression is the price we pay. A way of making it harder for us to continue the advancements in our genes to another generation of thinkers and not do'ers. Nature and evolution is so clever i can barely comprehend it.
I should probably get some sleep but i'm fighting it. Why is that?
Maybe this should go in my blog, it's personal but then why should i move it. Is this forum not a blog or sorts? I'm rambling now and should probably click on the "post this message" button but i get the feeling there is still more to come out. Alas, it will have to wait for another time...

Hehe my heart was in my mouth then. I tried to post and got told off for the elongated meh and had to come back. Thank the lord they fixed that problem with dissappearing posts.

Who's going to be stupid enough to try and top ol' Jack's Joker though?

I'd like to see Robin Williams give it a go actually, he was originally down to play the Riddler before Carrey y'know.

I really love Batman Begins, but I can't help but get the feeling it's attempted to make Bruce Wayne too normal, too in control of his own actions. There was no major splitting of Batman and Bruce Wayne. Bruce Wayne is the business-man, the designer and the chemist. Batman is the monster, it's too much like Bruce can just 'stop' being him if he wants to, that he's fully aware and in control of the monster. Batman has always feared himself, that's what makes him so interesting - he doesn't have the solid father figure.

But hopefully that'll be put to rest in the next film. The Joker better be on top form, I'll happily play the Joker if they're having trouble casting it.
