I've played BF3 online since its release last year. During this time I've used many servers but I do tend to use a selected few ... UK, USA, France, Belgium and Germany. During my campaign, I have made friends across the World and joined squads and clans ... local as well as global. Friendship and assistance have been the bond.
My son began BF3 two months ago and enjoyed a similar experience for himself. He is now playing BF4. He has played online since its release yesterday but 20 minutes ago the following happened ...
He's playing on a server, he kills and is then killed hinself. Next:
Server message...Player kicked from server
Reason...go and play on a server from your own country!
This server happens to be a German server ... now whatever happened to 'entante cordiale' and European Unity?
What has happened to the mentality behind BF4 server admins compared to BF3?
I, for one, don't find this incident acceptable even though it is probably only an isolated one.
...I still haven't managed to get on it. Tomorrow morning, maybe.
BF4 has now been released to the World ... minor changes to levelling, newish maps etc etc
Not inspired by the game at all...but eldest son started his 'campaign' just after he returned from work ... 16.40.
It is now 23.05, he's reached lv4 but he tells me he is now playing with players who are already lv35-40!!!
Just where does/will a year go?
The weather report says it's going to be pretty bad out there. So far, no sign of it.
Seems pretty busy round here this week...
pb and myself have been rushed off our feet ... hate to think what the weekend will bring ;¬)
Just read that Panasonic are ceasing production of their rather incredible at the end of the year. Hope mine doesn't break anytime soon as I love it.
Mrs DL loves her 'televised visual display panel', but probably not as much as you do ;¬)
